RiskIQ Appoints Arian Evans Vice President of Product Strategy

Leading Provider of Customer Facing Threat Detection Technology Taps Former WhiteHat Security Executive to Head Up Innovation Development

SAN FRANCISCO -- Oct. 14, 2014 -- RiskIQ, the company that enables organizations to detect and mitigate customer facing threats, today announced the appointment of former WhiteHat Security executive Arian Evans as vice president of product strategy. Evans brings more than 16 years of expertise in information and application security, software development, systems architecture and financial services to RiskIQ. He will lead technology innovation at RiskIQ to meet evolving customer requirements for monitoring, detecting and mitigating online threats that prey on users of their websites and mobile apps.

Evans joined RiskIQ from web application security provider WhiteHat Security. As vice president of operations and product strategy he was responsible for creating new product lines, service-delivery, customer support, and building WhiteHat's Threat Research Center and R&D teams. Previously, he was global application security practice lead for consulting firm FishNet Security. He has also worked on global security projects for the Center for Internet Security, NIST, the FBI, and the U.S. Secret Service.
