How Magecart Compromised Ticketmaster and800 Other eCommerce Sites
On June 27th, Ticketmaster announced that their UK branch has been compromised and that hackers had stolen valuable customer information, including credit card data.
However, that is just the tip of the iceberg.
RiskIQ discovered that this was not a one-off event as initially reported, but part of a massive, systemic digital credit card-skimming campaign by the threat group Magecart affecting over 800 e-commerce sites around the world.
